NCNA is always looking for great ways to bring the community together!

We have several events each year and we are constantly evaluating and planning new events. We would love to include your ideas and hope that you join this fun committee!

PREMIER EVENTS

  • Family Day: A day made just for families! Fun, food, games and more! 
  • Garden Walk: (6/25/23) An afternoon where neighbors explore the beautiful gardens in the neighborhood! Music, raffles and trolley provided to get neighbors around town!
  • Holly Jolly Holiday Market: (date tbd, mid-Dec.) A magical day in the Town Square where local merchants sell their goods, music, Irish Dancing, and a visit from the Winter Queen and Santa!

ONGOING AND SPECIAL EVENTS NCNA

  • Monthly Meetings: Review monthly neighborhood business. First Monday of each month at the Chamber offices.
  • "First Wednesday Food Drive:" Neighborhood food drive that supports the Common Pantry and our neighbors in need. (First Wednesday of each month)
  • Sustainability Markets sponsored by NCNA and RWC: Local eco market to recycle, renew and reuse common household items and keep them out of the landfills. (See Calendar for full schedule)
  • NCNA Nights: When you purchase a meal from a local highlighted restaurant, that restaurant provides 15% of proceeds back to the North Center Neighbors Association!

    On the first Wednesday of each month, our Compassion in Action Committee hosts our "First Wednesday Food Drive" to benefit Common Pantry. The need is great, but our generous community has donated month after month!

    NCNA Annual Meeting - State of the Neighborhood

    Monday, March 11th, 6:30-8:30 PM 

    ROCKS North Center, 4138 N. Lincoln Ave.

    You are invited to NCNA's Annual Meeting - The State of the Neighborhood at ROCKS North Center on Monday, March 11th from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.

    Alderman Matt Martin is scheduled to speak along with Jenny Schaffer from the 19th District Police Council and Representative Ann Williams. Representatives from the offices of Congressman Mike Quigley, Senator Sara Feigenholtz, and Representative Hoan Huynh, will also share constituent service information. 


    During the meeting, the NCNA Board of Directors will present:

    • Our current areas of focus
    • Provide committee and organization updates
    • Discuss upcoming NCNA events
    • NCNA members will be able to vote on the new board slate
    • Appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available.

    NCNA's Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to meet our community leaders,  learn what we are up to, and ask any questions you may have. Please RSVP here!

    Please join the Compassion in Action (CIA) committee for their quarterly planning meeting on Monday, March 18th at 7:00 pm. The CIA committee invites anyone interested in contributing to the betterment of our community and neighbors. Please register for the meeting, and we will send you all the meeting details, location, and information on how you can become a member of this thoughtful community-focused committee!
