We work to bring the neighbors of North Center together to achieve and preserve a vibrant community for living, working, learning and playing.

  • Individual Membership ($15 annual dues) for one adult.
  • Family Membership ($30 annual dues) for one family.
  • Business Membership ($100 annual dues) for a local business.

Membership benefits

Benefits of NCNA Membership:

  • Events: Reduced pricing, early access or free entry to NCNA or partner events. 

  • Information: A consistent NCNA newsletter containing valuable information about NCNA and other neighborhood news and events. 

  • Connection to Neighbors: Meet neighbors at our annual meeting each May and other events throughout the year, such as volunteering on a committee.     
          
  • Committees: Participation in NCNA’s committees, including Compassion in Action, Zoning, and Environmental. You will help bring the committee's mission to life, provide input and contribute to the planning and/or activation of initiatives and events.
                                                                   
  • Improved Neighborhood: A voice in neighborhood matters, including but not limited to NCNA’s Zoning Committee. This committee regularly makes recommendations to the Alderman’s office about zoning change projects that can have a dramatic impact on the area.

Membership is open to everyone, but you must live in our boundaries to vote on NCNA business matters.

The North Center Neighborhood's boundaries are: Addison on the south, the Chicago River on the west, Montrose on the north, and Ravenswood on the east.
