What are the boundaries of the North Center Neighbors Association?

The boundaries of the North Center Neighbors Association are Addison on the south, the Chicago River on the west, Montrose on the north, and Ravenswood on the east. Whether you live, play or work in the neighborhood, you are welcome to join NCNA!

What is a neighborhood association?

Neighborhood associations offer a place to meet friends, become informed on local topics, exchange information, define community priorities, propose solutions, and to have fun. A neighborhood association is formed based on the needs and desires of its residents, and in this case, those that live within North Center, Chicago.


What is NCNA?

The North Center Neighbors Association. This association is run by 12 volunteer board members who each hold a 3 year term. Within the organization there are focused committees, made up of NCNA members, who volunteer their time to support our initiatives, help coordinate and run events and hold voting rights on important local issues. How do I join NCNA?

What does my annual membership fee support?

Your annual membership fee helps pay for administrative costs of the organization, such as organizing and publicizing events sponsored by NCNA, maintaining the website and necessary operating technology, printing materials, securing permits and space, etc.


DONATIONS


How can I donate to the North Center Neighbors Association?

NCNA appreciates all donations made to the organization. There are 3 common ways to donate: (1) financially give online or by mail (2) join or renew your annual membership (3) gift a membership to a friend, neighbor or coworker. Funding for NCNA beyond membership dues enables NCNA to provide more comprehensive services to the neighborhood. VOLUNTEERING


How can I volunteer for NCNA?

NCNA welcomes the volunteer support of North Center residents and others connected to the community. There are all kinds of ways to support NCNA, including volunteering for one of our events, helping to distribute announcements and information, serving on one of NCNA’s committees, or acting as a block captain.
