What is Reduce Waste Chicago?
Our work has attracted interest from organizations across the city that are eager to divert materials from the landfill and educate their neighbors about ways to reduce waste. Due to this growth and our new collaborations, we’re excited to share that the Recycling Pop-Up is now Reduce Waste Chicago, a program of the North Center Neighbors Association. We are now dedicated to helping all Chicagoans reduce waste. You can follow Reduce Waste Chicago on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We also welcome you to join our Facebook Community Group, where you can connect and share ideas with other Chicagoans who are on the same journey, and subscribe to the RWC email newsletter list. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the volunteer work and financial support of community members like you, and board members who share our vision. Support our workYou can support our efforts by making a tax-deductible donation to the North Center Neighbors Association, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Your donation will cover operational costs, including shipping supplies, transportation costs and rent/utilities if (when!) we find a space. Membership to the North Center Neighbors Association supports Reduce Waste Chicago and The Sustainability Market. Join our efforts and become a member today. |
