Please join the Compassion in Action (CIA) committee, Monday September 25th at 7:00 pm, for their quarterly planning meeting. The CIA committee welcomes anyone who wants to get involved in helping our neighbors and neighborhood thrive. We are open to new initiatives, so bring your ideas with you! Please RSVP to the meeting and we will send you meeting details and more information how you can become a member of this thoughtful, community driven committee!

Compassion in Action (CIA) was created to ensure the well-being of all neighbors through connecting, sharing and advocating. Some of CIA's current action items and projects include:

  • This month the CIA coordinated their efforts through the 19th District Council and collected supplies for the migrants who recently arrived in Chicago. They also partnered with Erie House this fall to help migrants who were relocated from Texas. 
    • Coordinating a Welcome to North Center Packet for new neighbors, the Volunteer Snow Brigade for the neighborhood and volunteer opportunities with so much more!

    We are looking forward to seeing you on September 25th!
